Parade marches down Main St, from West to East, with entry's announced, some performing, in front of the County Courthouse.

Starts after Parade

23rd Annual Car Show held downtown with lots of different classes, from popular to exotics, with no entry fees. Free hamburgers for participants.

Also, will host 3rd Annual National Dog Show. No fee to enter.

"Old Rip" Scholarship Pageant

The pageant is held the Saturday before Ripfest, with winners and contestants entering parade. There are 7 different groups from age 0 through 12th grade. Senior Miss contestants will be competing for $500 scholarship.

"Old Rip" 5K and
Kid's Fun Run/Walk

Starts at 8:00AM

Certified/timed race of 5 kilometers, with registration
at 7:00AM. Each participant receives T-shirt, with prizes awarded to age group winners. All kid finishers win ribbons. Special awards given to school and business with largest team.

Booger "Red" Nixon Memorial Bull Riding

Starts at 7:30PM

2nd Annual competition. 30 top bull riders will compete for prize money. Held at the Leon River Cowboy Church Arena, 5 miles east of Eastland in Olden, TX.

Eastland Fire Dept. Fish Fry

Starts at 5:30PM
Ends at 7:30PM

Annual catfish fry benefiting the fire department. Full meal, with sides and drink. Held downtown at the Eastland Fire Station.
