Eastland Fire Department Hosts Fund Raising Fish Fry
09/29/2008 - Eastland, Texas September 22, 2008 - Eastland Fire Department (EFD) hosts their bi-annual fund raising fish fry in conjunction with the ‘Old Rip’ Fest, October 4, 2008.
The fish fry starting at 5:30 PM and ending at 7:00 PM will be held at Maverick Stadium in Eastland, Pricing for the fish fry will be $9 for Adults and $6 for Children which also includes admission into the stadium to see country music entertainer, Bryan Cline sponsored by Coca-Cola Enterprises and Wal-Mart.
All proceeds go toward funding the Eastland Fire Department, and all are welcome.

Founded 1907, current roster twenty-six (26), two (2) bruch trucks, one (1) 2,000 gallon pumper tanker, one (1) medium duty rescue apparatus, three (3) fire engines. Chief Phillip H. Arther, 1st Assistant Chief Rick Wende, 2nd Assistant Chief Gordon Woolam.
