Christmas Tour of Homes - DEC. 14

12/08/2008 - Sunday, Dec. 14: Holiday Tour of Homes
2 p.m. Tour departs from Connellee Hotel. Tickets are $10

Wednesday, Dec. 17: Holiday Gift Wrapping
Women's Club House, 105 West Plummer Street, Eastland. 11:00 - 5:30 p.m. (cost: voluntary donations).

Special thanks to Eastland Community Foundation, Chamber of Commerce, Eastland Telegram, radio station, Eastland County Officials, 4-H youth and local business contributors.

The annual Christmas Tour of Homes will be Sunday, Dec. 14, from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. This annual tour is sponsored by the Eastland Civic League and Garden Club. The tour will feature four homes in Eastland along with a tour of the Woodland Assisted Living Facility.

Tickets are now on sale for $10 each. Persons wishing to buy tickets may contact any Civic League member. Tickets will also be sold upon arrival at the Connellee Lobby the day of the tour.

The tour will begin at 2 p.m. from the Connellee Hotel Lobby in Eastland. Refreshments will be served prior to the tour departure. Vans are being made available for the tour participants or you may also drive your own car.

The Holiday Tour of Homes is a fund raising project for the Civic League Scholarship Fund.

The tour committee members are Chairperson Mary Jo Smith, Leann Barron, Suanne Blalock, Linda Krueger, Johnnie Suggs, Jennifer Wilson, Kara Compton and Janet Thomas. Mrs. Penny Dyer is Civic League president.
