RIP’S RIBS COOKOFF DOWNTOWN EASTLAND APRIL 13
01/29/2013 - EASTLAND, TEXAS - Soon the air on the square in downtown Eastland, Texas will be filled with smoke and it won't be a bad fire, but a good fire! The fire will be helping contestants as they compete for the best pork ribs in the country during the first annual Rip's Ribs Cookoff on Saturday, April 13. Limited to 30 cooking teams, this event is hoped to be the precursor to what the planners hope will be a major attraction to the area for years to come. Each cooking team will be provided with enough St. Louis Style pork ribs to cook up an award winning entry, plus to help feed the 200 limited eating tickets for a special dinner later in the evening.
