Lakeside Golf Course

Originally built in 1929, this golf course has been completely renovated with new facilities and 9 new holes. It is located 1/2 mile north of Eastland on FM 3101. The facility includes a challenging 18 hole course, driving range, and an excellent restaurant. The semi-private course is open to the public for daily play. Memberships are available. This 9-hole golf course, located on the shores of Lake Leon, has been under a complete  renovation project throughout 2005 and 2006, that will add more than just 9 holes. The country club has already completed a new pro shop, new fitness center with pool, and a very elegant, fine dining restaurant with attached bar/club called the Eagle's Nest. It is accessible from FM 570 and is open to members. Temporary member passes are also available. Call for more information.
